Shira Leah Haus is a writer and editor from Michigan. She earned an MFA in poetry from the University of Tennessee and is a copyeditor for The Offing. Her work appears or is forthcoming in Poetry Magazine, Copper Nickel, Passages North, Poetry Northwest, and Wildness, among others, and her poems have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best Microfiction. She has received support from the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, was longlisted for the 2024 Redbud Writing Project Coppice Prize, placed third in the 2024 Pinch Literary Awards for poetry, and was shortlisted for both the 2025 ONLY POEMS Poet of the Year prize and the Bob Hicok Fellowship.
